Robot-as-a-Servicefor deployments

Automate the work you can’t hire for

Bimanual robot cells take on the repetitive benchwork UK manufacturing runs every day. Case packing, tray loading, kitting, machine tending. We train them on your exact workflow, install and run them at your site. There’s no hardware for you to buy. We bring the robots and the AI, and you pay per station for the hours they run.

Automate manual labour work

We focus on the bimanual benchwork UK manufacturers can’t staff. It’s repetitive, high-mix and easy to get wrong. We start on the dry side of food & beverage. That means case packing, tray loading, multipack assembly, palletising and label inspection. In precision and electronics it means kitting, machine tending and sub-assembly.

01

Case packing

Product into cases, correctly placed and oriented.

02

Kitting

Multi-part kits assembled to spec.

03

Machine tending

Load, unload, repeat, all shift.

We hold the cell to your line’s standards. Items placed right, cases sealed, labels straight, nothing leaving the cell wrong.

A new kind of robotics automation.

55,000 manufacturing roles sit unfilled across the UK (Make UK), and the all-in cost of a minimum-wage hire is up 15% since 2024 (CPS). The work behind those vacancies is the work classical automation never reached: short runs, high mix, a changeover every other day. Embodied AI closes that gap.

The old way

Classical automation built for one task, at volume.

  • Hard to beat on fixtured, high-volume repetition.
  • Every new product means new fixturing and new programming.
  • On a short batch, that costs more than the run is worth.
  • So most high-mix UK lines never automated at all.

Our approach

Embodied AI that learns your work, adapts to your line.

  • Changeovers without reprogramming: the cell learns the new job.
  • Built for short runs, promotional packs, and products that vary.
  • Taught by the skilled people already on your line.
  • Improves with every shift it runs, across the whole fleet.

How a deployment works.

  1. 01

    Assess & prove

First we learn how your line runs, then rebuild it in simulation with your layout, your products and the real conditions your team works in. We take the best robot models we can get and put them through your exact tasks, first in that simulation and then on real robots. We keep going until they’re reliable enough for the way you operate. You’ll see the whole thing working before anything goes live.

The same evaluation rigour our research platform is built on.

  2. 02

    Deploy & operate

We bring the robots, the AI models, and the work to wire it all into your line. Then we run the workflow at your site, so building and staffing a robotics team never lands on you. When a cell hits something it can’t handle, a remote operator steps in and completes the action, and every intervention trains the fleet. We back that with an SLA on task completion, around 99%.

  3. 03

    Optimise

Every deployment feeds the loop. Out on your line, cells hit the messy cases a lab can’t reproduce, the real interventions and the rare edge conditions. All of it goes into training the next version of the model.

What you get.

No capital investment

Per-station pricing. Opex, not capex. No hardware to buy or maintain.

01

Repetitive labour, automated

The benchwork you can’t hire for gets done, and your people go back to skilled work.

02

A second shift, no second hire

Cells run through the night, on work you can’t currently staff at any price.

03

Reliability, built in

Proven on your workflow, monitored around the clock, with a remote operator behind every cell.

04

Fully managed

We run the robots, the models, and the operators who back them up.

Start with a pilot.

A pilot is low-risk on purpose. We assess your workflow and prove the robots on your real tasks before you commit to anything. If they don’t clear the bar, they don’t go live.
